JewSA (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates https://www.jewsa.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website.
1. Information We Collect
We do not run a newsletter or an email list, and we do not ask for your email address to browse the site. We collect only the following:
- Contact and business submissions: the name, email address, and message you enter in our contact form, or the business details (and optional name and email) you enter when suggesting a business for our directory. These are emailed to our team so we can respond or review the listing. They are not added to any mailing list or contact database.
- Order information: when you buy from our store, Stripe collects your name, email address, shipping address, and payment details on its secure checkout page. We never see or store your full card number. Your name, shipping address, and email are passed to Printful, which prints and ships your order.
- Analytics data: Google Analytics 4 collects information such as pages visited, time on site, referring site, device and browser type, and approximate location. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
- Tool inputs: if you use our Shabbat times or Hebrew birthday tools, the ZIP code or date you enter is sent to Hebcal.com to calculate the result.
- Data stored in your browser: your cart, language preference, saved ZIP code, and trivia streak are kept in your browser’s local storage. They stay on your device and are not sent to us.
